KM brand pumps
The KM brand electric pump has a long service life. This is reliable equipment with high performance.Technology of this type is used in various industries: mechanical engineering or pharmaceutical, chemical or food.
The key element in KM equipment can be called a closed-type centrifugal wheel. Its design contains several disks that are separated by blades. Powerful pressure of the pumped liquid is created due to special bends on the blades.
The working disk of the wheel moves inside the mechanism in the working chamber. It is formed using a transition housing. The main and transition housings are connected with bolted fastenings. The electric motor is connected to the adapter housing using a flange with four bolts.
The pump wheel is mounted on the motor shaft using bolted fasteners. It is securely fixed due to the presence of a special key. At the end of the wheel there is a gasket that protects the electric motor from penetration of working media. A special protective washer is also installed on the shaft.
Installation pumps KM 80-65-160 carried out in accordance with the following requirements:
- KM pumps are installed only in a place accessible for repair and routine maintenance;
- pipes are fixed on separate supports in order to avoid excessive load on the equipment flanges;
- the pressure and inlet parts of the pipeline are equipped with temperature compensators;
- the suction side pipe must be inclined relative to the intake tank;
- a check valve is installed at the outlet of the electric pump;
- pressure is measured by pressure gauges, which are installed at the inlet and outlet of the unit;
- If necessary, a barrier fluid is supplied to the mechanism.
KM console pumps can be used to supply drinking or process water and other liquids. They are versatile and durable, suitable for pumping salt water and guarantee stable operation of the system.
